Challenge

To find a suitable roofing material for a new housing development on the edge of the 164 acre Harlow Town Park. Located in a conservation area with a listed building adjacent to the site it was important to reflect the local architecture.

Solution

Kier Living Eastern specified Acme Double Camber Clay Plain Tiles in Antique for the roofing of a luxury development of nine four bedroom houses, which helped the new homes blend into their surroundings.

Result

As well as planning permission, Kier Living also secured approval from the Urban Design Team at Essex County Council.
