Challenge

Client and planners required a product that would provide a perfect balance between complimenting the ‘wow’ factor of the Canadian log house, whilst remaining sympathetic to the local roofscape. Cost constraints also called for a slate appearance without the associated costs of the natural product.

Solution

Edgemere Interlocking Slates were selected and approved by planning because of their ability to achieve a slate-like appearance with the performance and economy of a concrete interlocking tile. Their compatibility with high performance dry fix and ventilation systems delivered a complete roof system.

Result

The end result was an aesthetically stunning roof which achieved its goal of enhancing and augmenting the unique and charming nature of the building.
