Challenge

Windsor is known for its historic character, so it was important that the luxury development by Kebbell Homes had a roof covering that remained sympathetic to the traditional style found in the surrounding area. What was needed was a tile that could maximize external aesthetics without adversely affecting the overall budget.

Solution

Kebbell Homes decided to choose Ashmore interlocking tiles in Old English Dark Red because of their ability to deliver the premium appearance of a traditional double lap plain tile but offer the cost and time saving benefits of an interlocking tile. A premium appearance, but lower cost roof tile allowed Kebbell Homes to maintain a high internal specification, which can be a deciding factor in a competitive market.

Result

The end result couldn’t have been any better, delivering a beautiful roof which perfectly augmented a luxury development, boasting not only impressive architecture, but a classic and elegant facade echoing that of the town’s established buildings.
